Heidi Noyes-Bourgeois

Owner and Director at Broadway North, from a very early age Heidi knew she wanted to teach dance, growing up in Elaine Quinn’s dance studio, competing and helping out whenever she could. At age 16 she spent two summers attending training in New York City at Dance Educators of America, and became a certified dance instructor. Heidi opened her studio at age 18, with Mrs. Quinn’s blessing and guidance and then toured Nationwide with Dance Caravan “Caravan’s Kids” as a teacher’s assistant over the summer of 1993. Over the last sixteen years, her solo and group competitors have won various State and National competitions with Dance Olympus, Dance America, On Stage America, Star Quest, Headliners, Creations Dance, Star Bound, Dance USA, NYLA, and Miss New Hampshire Pageants. Students from Broadway North performed in the 1998 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and each year, are given the opportunity to perform in Holiday Shows, local festivals and parades, Miss New Hampshire preliminary shows as well as the Broadway North Christmas and spring recitals. Heidi was named the over-all talent winner at the 1997 and 1998 Miss New Hampshire Pageants. She competed for the title of Miss America in 1998 and completed her year of service as Miss New Hampshire 1998, where she was the recipient of over $37,000 in scholarships while competing. Heidi enjoys attending master classes wherever she can and performed from 1999-2006 with the cast of Miss New Hampshire Dancers and in 2007 she was asked to and accepted to be a co-choreograph for their annual show in April. Heidi accepted the challenge and had a blast! She resides in Gilford with her husband Marc and their 6 year old son, Trey and 2 year old daughter Anya.
