Emily is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer located in New Hampshire. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Point Park University with a BFA in Dance, with a focus in Modern and Ballet, and a minor in Biology. Emily is currently performing as a company member of NSquared Contemporary Dance Company located in Southern New Hampshire. She spends her summers dancing at BalletX, Complexions, Alonzo Lines, Boston Dance Theatre, and American Ballet Theatre. Emily has performed and worked with Jae Man Joo, Julia Erickson, Kwang Suk Choi, Garfield Lemonius, LeeWei Chao, Jay Kirk, and other faculty at Point Park University. Beyond performing and choreographing, Emily actively participates in The Miss America Organization, serving as Miss New Hampshire 2024. She has earned the overall talent award at the Miss New Hampshire competition two years in a row for her captivating self-choreographed dance performances. Emily is now gearing up to compete for the title of Miss America 2025. She is also passionate about teaching, is certified in Pilates and Nutrition, and hopes to help athletes with health, well-being, and injury prevention in the future.
Emma has 15 years of dance education. She studied Lyrical, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, and Jazz while dancing competitively at Concord Dance Academy. Emma has worked at CDA as a class assistant throughout High School and is now taking classes through New Hampshire Technical Institute to earn a degree in Education. Emma has participated in many different dance opportunities regionally and nationally in and outside of Concord. She is excited to share her love for dance with all of her students, and is looking forward to pushing her dancers and encouraging growth, while sharing their love for the art of dance.
Bella has 15 years of dance experience, many of those years competing both regionally and nationally. She studied the styles of tap, ballet, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. She has had the ability to take classes both inside and outside of her home studio to get the most of what dance has to offer. Through her years she had the opportunity to assist in classes and now teaches her own, hoping to create a space for growth while encouraging students to step out of their comfort zones, all while creating a positive dance environment.
Jennafer is a native of a small town in Connecticut, where she grew up dancing in all styles. Her love for tap dance grew when she attended Plymouth State University, in Plymouth, NH, and further honed her tap knowledge and skills under the tutelage of Aaron Tolson. After graduation, Jennafer was selected to dance in Tolson's semi-professional tap dance company, where she later served as his company manager and senior dance captain. At the same time, she jumped feet first into teaching, and for the past 15 years, has been introducing her students to the relationship between sounds and movements. As a passionate and dedicated teacher, Jennafer loves nothing more than teaching technique and helping students find their passion for tap dance. She is also an award-winning choreographer and many of her pieces have earned the highest scoring routine of the competition. For the past 10 years, Jennafer has been involved in various scholarship programs, she serves on the Board of Directors for Miss Bedford, part of the Miss New Hampshire America, and she choreographs for local contestants. Jennafer loves being a formative part of a young dancer's training and enjoys sharing her passion for the tap dance with everyone who steps into her classroom.
Suzanna Derynioski is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus in Small Business Entrepreneurship and a minor in dance, with a certificate in dance pedagogy. Suzanna co-founded the New Hampshire Dance Movement in 2013 and organized several shows that raised over $10,000 for college scholarships through the Faith, Hope, and Love Foundation. While at PSU, she performed in several works in the Dance Division’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble performances, including those of guest artists from Urbanity Dance, Pantos Project, Refractions Dance Collective, Amy Marshall Dance Company, and JazzArt Dance Theatre. Suzanna has had her work featured with the PSU Contemporary Dance Ensemble, PSU Dance Team, New Hampshire Dance Movement, and Shaker Village. Suzanna received the Contemporary Dance Ensemble Award, in recognition of contributions made for the development and furtherance of the art of dance at PSU. Suzanna is a Pointe Safe certified teacher and has completed courses with world-renowned dance physiotherapist Lisa Howell, including Training Turnout in Tiny Dancers and the Flexibility Intensive. She incorporates dance science into her classes to help dancers become safer, stronger, and more efficient. Suzanna has been teaching in the Lakes Region for over 10 years.
